Project Overview
For my capstone project Gleam, I focused on curating a brand identity for a skincare brand. After establishing a clear and engaging logo I worked on expanding the brand to package designs, social media posts, and icons. This brand touches on topics like being vegan and cruelty-free while encouraging skin confidence. This brand is geared towards a Gen Z target audience. This means I targeted an age range of 15 to 25. By targeting this age group, I designed a brand that is bold and colorful to catch the eye of the audience.
Learning Objective
This project challenged the integration of consistency across multiple deliverables. Furthermore, I had to strategize on how to distinguish my project on a crowded shelf within an already saturated industry.

about the logo
This logo utilizes a sans-serif font in order to add a sense of modernity and simplicity. The “G” mark for this logo takes inspiration from the fluidity of water that can directly relate back to the industry of the brand. The sparkle icon symbolizes feelings of shining or glimmering which can be compared to how using this product will make the user’s skin glow. Overall, this logo is modern, fluid, and clean which matches the feeling of the brand as a whole.
